Invisible cmgui elements in a new region

last edited 4 years ago by blackett

If you read in a set of elements (with lines) then they just appear in the graphics window.

But if I explictly make a different region/group "gfx create egroup fred" and then add these same elements into it then you do not see them straight away.

This comes about because when you created the blank region with no elements in it, it had no way of determining which field was a good default coordinate field, so it probably grabbed the first one alphabetically which is often "cmiss number". In the scene_editor you can change the "Default coordinate field" if you expand the "General settings".
