- To suppress the inclusion of all the tracker items in the navigation portlet in the ZMI go to portal_properties->navtree_properties and add PloneCollectorNG to parentMetaTypesNotToQuery

- The PCNG Collector is not a well supported product unfortunately. There are some significant issues and we are considering replacing it. However in the mean time here are some hints on it's use:
